By accessing or using our website, submitting an application, registering for an event, or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional terms or conditions specifically stated for the relevant program, event, product, or service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or complete a transaction.

Scholarship Eligibility

To apply for a Scholarship Program, you must meet the eligibility criteria specified in the relevant program announcement.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided in your application is accurate, current, and complete.

Submission of false, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information may result in disqualification from the Scholarship Program.

Scholarship Application and Assessment Process

Applications must be submitted through the official application process specified by FAS Pilot Academy.

Participation in the examination and assessment process for admission to a Scholarship Program is subject to payment of the applicable Participation Fee.

The Participation Fee relates exclusively to the candidate’s participation in the assessment process and covers the associated administrative and organizational procedures.

Applicants are responsible for submitting all required information and documentation through the designated application and file upload systems.

FAS Pilot Academy reserves the right to verify the authenticity and accuracy of any information or documentation submitted by an applicant.

Payment of the Participation Fee and participation in the assessment process do not constitute or imply any guarantee of successfully passing the examinations, being selected as a candidate, receiving a scholarship, or being admitted to the Scholarship Program.

Participation Fee and Non-Refundability

The applicable Participation Fee will be stated as part of the relevant Scholarship Program application process. For the Scholarship Program 2026/2027, the Participation Fee is €200, unless otherwise expressly stated.

The Participation Fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the examination, assessment, or selection process, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

In particular, once the Participation Fee has been paid, it will not be refunded or transferred if the candidate:

  • does not meet the required eligibility or selection criteria;
  • is not selected for the Scholarship Program;
  • voluntarily withdraws from the application, examination, or assessment process;
  • fails to attend a scheduled examination, assessment, interview, or other required appointment; or
  • does not successfully pass an examination or other stage of the assessment process.

Payment of the Participation Fee does not create any right or entitlement to receive a scholarship or to be admitted to the Scholarship Program.

By paying the Participation Fee, the candidate confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, including the non-refundable nature of the Participation Fee and the fact that participation in the assessment process does not guarantee the award of a scholarship.

The final selection of candidates is made in accordance with the assessment procedure, eligibility requirements, and examination results established by FAS Pilot Academy for the relevant Scholarship Program.

Payments may be processed through WooCommerce and our designated payment service providers.

By making a payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

FAS Pilot Academy is not responsible for additional charges independently imposed by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Examination and Assessment

Participation in a Scholarship Program may include written examinations, medical evaluations, simulator assessments, interviews, or other assessment procedures specified by FAS Pilot Academy.

  • Applicants are responsible for attending or scheduling appointments as instructed.
  • FAS Pilot Academy may modify, reschedule, relocate, or cancel assessment dates where reasonably necessary.
  • Applicants will be informed of material changes using the contact information provided during their application.
  • Results will be communicated through the method specified by FAS Pilot Academy.
  • Scholarship assessment decisions are final, subject to any review or appeal process expressly provided by FAS Pilot Academy or required by applicable law.

Events and Event Tickets

FAS Pilot Academy may offer paid or free registration for Events through the Website.

Ticket Purchase

When purchasing or registering for an Event:

  • you must provide accurate and complete purchaser and attendee information;
  • you must ensure that you are authorized to provide information relating to any other attendee for whom you purchase a Ticket;
  • the price, date, time, location, availability, and any specific conditions applicable to an Event will be displayed on the relevant Event page or during the purchase process;
  • a Ticket is valid only for the Event, date, and ticket category for which it was issued; and
  • completion of payment does not necessarily constitute confirmation until the transaction has been successfully processed and the Ticket or order confirmation has been issued.

Electronic Tickets may be delivered to the email address provided during registration or purchase.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address and for ensuring that you can access the Ticket or confirmation before attending the Event.

Ticket Use

A valid Ticket or other proof of registration may be required for admission.

Tickets may contain identifying information or a unique code used to validate admission. A Ticket may not be duplicated, reproduced, altered, or used fraudulently.

Unless otherwise stated for a particular Event, each Ticket permits admission for one attendee only.

FAS Pilot Academy may refuse admission where a Ticket is invalid, duplicated, fraudulent, cancelled, refunded, or has already been used.

Any additional attendance requirements applicable to a particular Event will be communicated on the Event page or during registration.

Ticket Cancellations and Refunds

Unless otherwise expressly stated on the relevant Event page or required by applicable law, Event Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

Where an Event concerns a leisure activity scheduled for a specific date or period, the statutory right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance contracts may not apply in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

This does not affect any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

If FAS Pilot Academy cancels an Event, Ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the Ticket price paid for the cancelled Event, unless another remedy is agreed with the Ticket holder or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise, FAS Pilot Academy will not be responsible for additional expenses incurred in connection with attendance at an Event, including travel, accommodation, transportation, or other personal expenses.

Event Changes and Rescheduling

FAS Pilot Academy may make reasonable changes to an Event where necessary, including changes to:

  • date or time;
  • venue or location;
  • schedule;
  • speakers, instructors, or participants;
  • format or content; or
  • delivery method, including changing between in-person, online, or hybrid delivery where appropriate.

If an Event is postponed or rescheduled, we will provide Ticket holders with information regarding the revised arrangements and any available options.

Where a material change gives rise to refund or other consumer rights under applicable law, those rights will not be affected by these Terms.

Event Conduct and Admission

Attendees must behave responsibly and comply with reasonable instructions provided by FAS Pilot Academy, venue operators, event personnel, and applicable safety or security requirements.

FAS Pilot Academy reserves the right, where reasonably justified, to refuse admission or require an attendee to leave an Event if the attendee:

  • behaves in a threatening, abusive, disruptive, dangerous, or unlawful manner;
  • creates a safety or security risk;
  • fails to comply with reasonable venue or event rules; or
  • attempts to gain admission using an invalid or fraudulent Ticket.

Any action taken under this section will remain subject to applicable law.

Purchases and Payment Processing

Our Website may use different systems for different types of transactions, including WooCommerce for online products or services and event ticketing functionality for Events.

Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment service providers such as Stripe.

FAS Pilot Academy does not guarantee that every payment method will be available for every transaction.

A transaction may be rejected or cancelled if payment cannot be successfully authorized or where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized use, or a technical error.

  • use the Website for fraudulent or deceptive purposes;

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FAS Pilot Academy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Website, participation in a Scholarship Program, or attendance at an Event.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability in connection with a particular paid service or transaction will be limited to the amount paid to FAS Pilot Academy for that service or transaction.
